11/03/18 -- Loddiswell
This 5.5 mile walk starts in the historic town of Loddiswell and descends through farmland to the river Avon at Hatch Bridge. There is a short section of road walking, flooded by about 2 inches of water, before the route follows the Avon upstream past the old railway signal box and station and on through woodlands along the railway bed.
The route leaves the Avon riverside and proceeds uphill along a sunken lane to return to Loddiswell through quiet lanes and rolling farmland.
Many stiles and very muddy in places.
Car share from Watermark at 9.15
