An 8.5 mile walk taking in - North Brentor -Gibbet Hill -Wheal Betsy - Mary Tavy
Terraine: open moorland, rocky, muddy (possibly very muddy!), hills (steady climb and descents) and a couple of stiles, short minor road
Places of Interest along the route: The Church of St. Michael was once used in the filming of Jamaica Inn. The leaning ruins of Wheal Betsy is an old engine house once used for mining. There is a plaque on the site giving more information.
Debrief at The Mary Tavy Inn which shuts at 3 pm.
